We operate a key-fob honesty system here at Ulverston Health Club, allowing you access during 6am - 10pm seven days a week, plus access to all our amazing fitness classes. Please read through the information carefully before signing up - by signing this agreement, the listed individual is accepting the following terms and conditions.

Fob Access

A £10 payment is needed for the door fob. It will not be activated until this payment has been made.
This fob will allow you access from 6am - 10pm
On event of you cancelling your payment, your fob will be deactivated.
If you lose or damage your fob a further £10 will be required for a replacement.

Gym Ettiquette

You are expected to strip your bars, replace your weights and turn off any lights/music if there is no one else in the gym. Persistent failure to do so can result in your fob being deactivated.
You are welcome to bring a guest. You are responsible for paying for them at the going rate per session. Guests are not free.

WAIVER FOR ACCESS

1.1 You have agreed to a private membership that allows you access when the gym is unstaffed. As such, you are aware that no supervision or assistance will be available at certain hours. There will often be no one available to assist you in the event of an emergency. We highly recommend that you train with a partner.

1.2 Because physical exercise can be subject to a risk of injury, the club urges you to obtain a physical exam from a doctor before starting an exercise regime. You and any guests you bring use the gym entirely at your own risk. You agree you are voluntarily participating in the use of the equipment and assume all risks of injury or death. We are not responsible for loss of your property whilst on site.

1.3 This waiver and release of liability includes without limitations, all injuries which may occur regardless of negligence as a result of your use of all amenities and equipment in the facility, participation in classes, personal training or instruction.

1.4 You acknowledge that you have read this document carefully and fully understand that this is a release of liability. You agree to release the club and discharge the club, all affiliates, employees, agents etc from any claims or cause of action and you agree to voluntarily waive any right you may have had to bring legal action against the club for negligence, personal injury or property damage.

1.5 Anyone bringing guests must take full responsibility for them under the same terms as listed above.
